Hardison hive

The Hardison hive was designed by Colorado beekeeper Martin Hardison as an attempt to collect and combine the best features of various topbar beehives into one design that was easy to build.

His design was published along with an excellent guide to topbar beekeeping entitled "The Appropriate Beehive

Marty also designed the Gorongosa hive and has consumed in the design of the Zambian Topbar bark hive - two designs intended to meet the needs of beekeepers in rural Africa.
