[[Jacob Springs Farm]] raises [[lamb]] for the [[locker trade]] and for the [[meat CSA]]

Typically 30-50 young lambs are purchased in the spring at auction or from a local farmer and raised on grass until [[slaughter]] in the late fall.
A lamb nearing a year old which weighs 120-140 lbs will dress out as a 70-80lb carcass.
