The Locker pork business consists of raising pigs to slaughter weight and selling them in wholes or halves to individuals who then pay a meat processor to slaughter, butcher and wrap and freeze them for long term storage. Alternatively the customer may choose to have them prepared for a special meal or event - often as a whole roasted animal.

Jacob Springs Farm produces pork in a unique way and markets many of it's pigs through the locker trade.
