Tembo Falls Faculty

Tembo Falls College will have a long-term faculty of 5-6 mentor-teachers. These people will be both exemplary in Christian life and character, as well as accomplished individuals within one of 6 broad areas of expertise as well as having multidisciplinary competence. They should come in roughly equal proportions from a mix of Zambian, broader African and international backgrounds. These positions will be paid at Zambian salaried rates, however faculty will be encouraged to seek external financial support if needed to supplement their salaries.

The broad areas will be:

• Communication; rhetoric, writing, and media
• Mathematics and accounting
• Sciences and Technology (programming)
• Spiritual formation, Bible and theology
• Agriculture and food production
• Manufacturing, infrastructure and maintenance

One of these long-term staff will be elected by the student body to serve as college president and one will serve as chief administrator for overlapping 4-year terms. The staff will serve at the pleasure of student body through the recommendations of the student-led Curriculum Committee.
