Hello friends -
Many of you have responded and committed to praying and already are praying. Thank you very much. I so appreciate it.
I thought I would give an updated prayer request list and my "tentative" itinerary so you can have an idea of what's going on each day.
- Pray for recovery from a cold I seem to have caught. I would love to have that gone before I travel Sunday. - Pray for Lindsay as she will be supporting our kids and family the next 2.5 weeks. Pray for my kids hearts. - Praise that nearly all messages are pulled together and sent off. - Pray for sustenance and joy in serving for those two weeks and safety of travel.

Wednesday - 9/10 -Brief speaking opportunity in overview for the college regarding Saturday's seminar on God's view of finances
Friday - 9/12 -Serve at Ciyanjano Camp Bible Club all day.
Saturday - 9/13 - Financial Seminar with local Zambian Christian Businessman. Between 50-75 pastor's and their wives
Monday - 9/15 - Teaching at Action Pastor's College in the afternoon
Tuesday - 9/16 - Serving HIV infected kids at Feeding program and providing them gifts from Village Church VBS - Summer 2014
Thursday - 9/17 - Radio discussion with Charles Bota on Business Strategy and serving as a Christian - Lusaka Baptist Church Business and Finance Seminar

Hello friends -
As many of you know, I will be going to Zambia again in September (evening of the 7th - returning on the 24th) on a mission trip to serve in a few different ways with Action International's mission in Zambia.
The Lord convicted and reminded me this week in my preparation that, while I've been praying personally, I need others around us to be praying for us in various ways.
What will I be doing? 1. We will be conducting a seminar on Financial matters. There will be over 50-60 local pastors invited and included and their wives. I will be conducting this with a local Zambian banking executive who is a Christian. We will be covering the areas of: God's view of Stewardship, Family Finances, Business start-up/planning and Business Strategy
2. The ministry sponsors a local Pastor's college. They have asked me to teach their one day.
3. Action Zambia has a ministry to develop the local church at a Camp that they've developed over 20 acres called Ciyanjano. I will be serving at that camp while there.
4. Action Zambia also has a ministry focused on feeding children that are infected with HIV/AIDS so it can help their medicine they take to combat the disease. Additionally, they have Bible training and games (similar to AWANA) for the children. I will be serving one of the days at their feeding programs. I will also be taking several Rainbow loom bracelets that our church made at this years Vacation Bible School.
How can you help? I would really appreciate your prayers. Please pray for the following if the Lord leads you to partner with me in this way:
- Pray for clarity and wisdom in how to prepare for the seminars and teaching opportunities. There will be a translator at one. Pray for the right words that will translate well. - Pray for safety and health in travel - Pray for my family as I will be gone for a little over two weeks here from the States. - Pray that the kids in the HIV feeding program would see they are loved when I present to them the bracelets the kids from VCB made for them. - Pray for strength for Lindsay. She will be shouldering quite a load while I am gone with the kids and homeschooling. She's amazing but would appreciate prayer support.
